Frog pond code battle

Two players. Two programs. Ten minutes of frogs.

Orange frogs0
Build a program for each frog, then press Run.

Player 1 program green

Player 2 program orange

How it works. Every frog runs its player's program over and over, one block per second. hop forward jumps one pad — into open water and the frog is lost, unless it was your last frog, in which case it swims back to your start corner and starts over. eat flicks the tongue at a beetle on the frog's own pad or the pad ahead. Beetles are worth 1 (green), 2 (blue), 3 (red) or 4 (gold) points, and every beetle that leaves the pond is replaced by one of the same colour flying in over the water — so both sides always hunt the same supply. A frog that has eaten three beetles grows, gains a gold ring, and its tongue reaches two pads instead of one; if bug reaches that far too. if bug / if water / if blocked ask what is on the pad ahead. repeat forever runs the blocks stacked inside it, over and over. spawn frog adds a new frog beside you, up to the max. The tally beside each score counts how many beetles of each colour that side has swallowed. Whoever has the most points when the clock hits zero wins.
